#1 attempt at scrimshaw on an old Piano Key incorporated into this basket


Tenerife Lace and Pine Needle Basket with white jasper beads and waxed ivory Irish linen thread. Going to put some scrimshaw pieces between the Tennerife like in Mattapoisett Baskets

    I came across your beautiful basketry work when you followed us on twitter regarding the Spanish escrino basket I recently learnt to make.
    I admire the imaginative way in which you use inclusions within your baskets to bring into the present such beautiful craft.
